NOVEMBER’S HOROSCOPES 2021

November is a spicy month astrologically speaking with many aspects which might present some challenges, especially mid month. Mars, enters Scorpio its ruling sign by the 1st of November. Having mars in such a strong position can help motivate and create strong momentum in the area of life that Scorpio rules in your chart, getting to the bottom of any challenges or understand the mechanics of this area of life is helpful. Mars only transits this area of life once every two years.

However as Mars transits Scorpio, it will square Saturn in Aquarius which is a planet also in its rulership but also a planet which is the antithesis of Mars energy. Saturn likes to go slow and take’s its time to make sure all the checks and balances are in place, mars likes to push through and works with allot more urgency. Having these two malefic planets in a challenging square aspect will trigger one of them to be frustrated. Mars when frustrated gets aggressive, Saturn when frustrated, clamps down and suppresses . As they are both in fixed signs that rule, the tension between the two will be extremely noticeable with neither wanting to concede Watch this space.

After squaring Saturn, Mars then moves on to oppose Uranus in Taurus. Uranus is a change agent which speaks to autonomy and freedom. When combined, both Mars and Uranus can create a very volatile, unpredictable and explosive dynamic. Challenges or opportunities, as Uranus can present opportunities will have a more urgent quality thanks to Mars, igniting the situation. The feeling of having to do something NOW, might be all consuming. Be careful handling this energy as it is very much a potential tinderbox, that could go in any direction.

The new moon on November 19th is a lunar eclipse on the fixed star Algol, making it anything but a nice and friendly full moon. Algol is a difficult fixed star, which has some very heavy connotation’s and attributes. Having the lunar eclipse on it makes it a volatile and unpredictable full moon. Unseen dynamics are at play and being very mindful with how you interact with this energy is important. This lunar eclipse is also the introduction to a new 18 month eclipse season on the Taurus / Scorpio axis. So we are shifting from an eclipse cycle on the Gemini / Sagittarius axis and moving into the Taurus / Scorpio axis. A lunar eclipse on Algol is anything but a subtle introduction.

Finally on the lunar eclipse, Venus reaches her retrograde point for her upcoming retrograde cycle in Capricorn, which will be spoken about in my next post. Moving through November, it will have its challenges, but by months end we look to a time where these dynamic and energies ease. By December, we enter a time frame that doesn’t have so much complex transits occurring simultaneously. It’s going to be an interesting ride.

Today’s full moon is the 2nd Aquarian full moon in a row, making it a blue moon. Our previous full moon was in the early degrees of Aquarius and in aspect to restrictive Saturn, making it a harsher lunation. Today’s lunation is conjunct an optimistic and uplifting Jupiter, creating an all-together different experience. 

A full moon conjunct Jupiter is a thing of beauty and a wonderfully uplifting aspect. It allows us to see/appreciate the things we DO have in these extremely trying times. Along with creating an-air of optimism and opportunity to expand ourselves, to raise our spirits, helping to find moments of joyousness in uncertain times.

2021 is hard, things are changing, and we are adapting, today’s lunation is a lovely moment in time to embrace theses changes and look for the opportunity to grow within these new parameters or limitations imposed by saturnian figures or situations.

We also have today; the Sun is in its last degree of Leo, finishing up its yearly transit in the sign it rules. Venus is now in Libra, another planet back home in its ruling sign; finally, Mercury is also strongly placed in Virgo also its ruling sign. We have some lovely planetary support at this full moon, making a dynamic skyscape. 

Despite all the setbacks, the challenges, the restrictions; today is a wonderful opportunity to settle in and bask in the wonder, the opportunities and the lessons that have gotten us to THIS point in time. AUGUST HOROSCOPES 2021

August 2021 brings friendly skies than we have seen in recent months, Mercury’s retrograde and Eclipse season in May – July was especially difficult. The Sun’s transit of Leo brings strength of illumination and vitality after the moody depths of Cancer season. Paths and directions might be more securely lit and enthusiasm with encouragement abound.

Mercury moving into Virgo the sign of its rulership and exaltation along with Mars helps offer motivation to problem solve some of those niggling problems helping bring solutions. A helpful influence in unpredictable times. The issues to solve will be clearer to see and the answers more accessible.

The new moon in Leo on 8th August, helps with new cycles in the Leo aspects of our chart and lives. The second full moon in Aquarius in a row, on 22 August will be opposite Jupiter the great benefic. This second full moon helps to create opportunity for any problems or restrictions that were presented when the last full moon on 24th July was in aspect to Saturn. This second full moon will also be in aspect to the royal fixed star of Regulus; which could manifest in help or assistance from someone in a high position or you, yourself being put in high regard and receiving some form of benefit or opportunity. July opens with a tricky Mars Saturn opposition which sets the tone for the month as the two malefic aspect each other, each trying to have their way. Saturn in Aquarius has the upper hand, so the long slow game beats out any rush or major pushes ahead especially if they are coming from a place of passion or ego. A cool and detached head will win the race.


Having Mercury entering Cancer, joining the Sun and the New Moon, brings down some of the tensions mid month, as we get a more intuitive or emotive read on things. Bonding and connecting to those who nurture you is wonderful, helping you heal any wounds that have opened by Mars and Saturn’s opposition.

The much heralded transit of Jupiter into Pisces begins, showing us the direction of 2022’s astrological highlight might present to take us, with its 2 month preview this May – July. MARS IN GEMINI 2021

4 March – 24 April 2021 AEDT

Today Mars enters Gemini, after an elongated transit of Taurus; the sign of Mars detriment.  Mars entered Taurus, at the moment “That Bull Guy” image; symbolic to the Capital Hill riots was blazoned across the world media. Having this transit line up with such a striking image after such an epic retrograde phase in 2020, was something that only emphasised the potential trickiness of this Mars in Taurus phase, we are now exiting.  Longer than usual, it’s been a tough slog from early January until now. Things have been slower than usual to get up and running along with a resistance to big energetic pushes, or things just required way more motivation than usual. Slow and steady took over from big pushes, which essentially impeded Mars ability to do anything really constructive, as Mars likes fast rigorous action. 

Today with Mars shifting into Gemini, Mars is in a much better space to be able to use his skills and dynamism.  Gemini is a much more dynamic and changeable sign in comparison to the fixed earth of Taurus. Gemini is naturally more aligned to Mars nature and curiosities.  This stimulation of Mars allows for more momentum, traction and progress after a tedious transit of Taurus and retrograde phase in 2020. In short, Mars in Gemini will give strength and vigour to the mind.

Also, at the time of this ingress of Mars into Gemini, Mercury will be conjoining Jupiter for its final conjunction to Mercury in Aquarius. The Ruler of this Mars transit is blessed with the final integration of this three-hit conjunction of Mercury / Jupiter. Having Mercury / Jupiter meet for the third time, allows for information, a way forward, a new plan, new optimism or a new path forwards after a difficult or confusing January / February 2021. 

Having Mercury leave the final stages of its retrograde, along with its connection with Jupiter is extremely helpful and positive for Mars as he enters Gemini. Finally after 12 months we have a Mars making for more positive aspects to Saturn in-particular, allowing for more supportive Mars. Something that has been missing over the last 12 months, as the wrecking ball of Covid 19 began to hit our lives.

Today marks, what potentially we were seeking when we started 2021, by offering us a clearer path forwards, providing the energy and motivation after a difficult and frustrating first two months of the Year. Today we begin to see a more positive Mars influence, which has been missing from our lives over the past 12 months, as Mars begins to set a new pace and a new tone, which is now informed and guided by Jupiter’s influence on Mercury.  Today Mars, gets some of his spunk and swagger back. xx

The New Moon in Aquarius will be one unlike any other, thanks to 6 of the 7 inner planets being in Aquarius at this lunation, creating a huge Aquarian stellium or line-up. This is rare and last occurred 59 years ago; feeding an extraordinary amount of planetary energy into the Aquarian sector of your chart/life. 

Aquarius, the water bearer is the provider and the support system, which is always working towards a point of wholeness or completion.  It is perhaps at this new moon; we can look to the Aquarian aspects of our lives with the intent to bring more support and structure into what we strive to complete or bring wholeness around these topics of life.  

Aquarian’s are individual within the collective, they hold their individuality and uniqueness, within the space of others; they are able to be themselves, whilst assisting others to help create community, it might just not be in the most traditional of ways. This new moon creates strong opportunity to workshop new pathways to evolve and sets up a deep incubation phase, of the Aquarian qualities of above and bringing them to life.

Venus and Jupiter conjoin at 12 °at this new moon, helping to harmonise the blending of big visions, optimism, new lessons and teachings, combined with attractive connection to those who you really vibe with. Jupiter fresh from his cazimi, helps to energize Venus, as she finishes her current cycle. Having the two benefic’s in-aspect at this lunation is a good thing, bringing in a more positive and optimistic flavour.

Mercury, still currently retrograde in Aquarius offers the benefit of reflection and insights. It’s only through looking back or re-looking at ourselves; we are able to know more clearly what we do or don’t seek. It also helps us see how we have progressed. Mercury still traveling through these back-water roads, offers introspection and reflection, as the Moon itself is at its darkest, helping to deepen the unseen or seeding of the experience.  

Finally, Saturn, the ruler of this lunation will be what remains after all these planets leave Aquarius and will hold to account; asking that you keep the contracts that you make at this time. Saturn will be making sure you keep promises or contracts, once all the benefits are optimism is gone. This will be key to your success. Saturn prefers a more striped back and simple plan, one that can be stuck to!  The good news is that Saturn works well in Aquarius, so it is creating a supportive and strong foundational base for these new explorations and developments.
