Mars Saturn in Aquarius 2020 – Times are a Changing.

Lillian Gish

Mars moves into Aquarius today, moving away from the sign and degree of his Exaltation, where he wields his strength with great force and valour. Mars always ignites, inflames or aggravates all that he touches, and his recent transit of Capricorn especially highlights this.

Moving through Capricorn making aspects to Pluto (Profound Evolution and Change), Jupiter (expansion and optimism) & The Nodes, any triggers weren’t light on impact.  Jupiter this time around, hasn’t helped, with no ability to pull down the malefic nature of it all, due to it being in such a downtrodden and Ill effective position.  The Nodes, also present on this axis, just doubles down on the magnitude and gravitas of it all. Mars in Capricorn during 2020 has showed just how fast moving and troublesome, he can really be.

When Mars moves into Aquarius, is a mixed blessing. He is finally moving away from a heavy concentration of confronting energy in Capricorn, which is goes about the cold and clinical ways of doing its business. Mars moving away from this hot mess in Capricorn, is good. But it has 2 last showdowns to complete, and perhaps one of the most powerful.

31stMarch is when the 2 malefic finally meet. Mars conjoining Saturn in Aquarius at 0 degrees. Mars has been chasing down Saturn to make the conjunction since his entry into Capricorn. Mars is quick volatility, Saturn is slower, but fear inducing and consequential. I personally prefer my Conquences to not be delivers at pace, but this is how this duo rolls. It’s a volatile combo who can easily manifest in ways that are challenging individually and collectively.

In 2020 Mars and Saturn are connected to each other for 12 weeks instead of the usual 6 weeks. We are currently at the halfway point. Mars moving into Aquarius will in some ways bring down the high intensity a notch, seeing its fricative nature being applied in a different yet still challenging way, until mid-May.

As these 2 planets separate by 7th April, this is when Mars Squares Uranus hot on the heels of its Saturn conjunction. This adds a very unpredictive and reactionary quality to early April. It is not until Mars enters Pisces mid-May, that we will begin to see an easing of the intense pressure and speed to which these once in a lifetime events that are unfolding.  Will it all be over then, no, but we will be able to begin to process the gravity or gravitas of our current situation, with less volatility and fear. Individually and collectively.

As Mars enters Aquarius, Mercury also clears its retrograde shadow. Moving from its incredibly murky and haze ridden retrograde, will help. Beginning to detangle some of the events that have happened at great speed since mid-February. Finally discovering what lays beneath the ashes. Beginning to understand the position we find ourselves…

Saturn into Aquarius : Re-envisioning Society and Boundaries

22 March 2020 at 1500 AEST, Saturn ingresses into Aquarius, for the first time since early 1994, beginning a new Saturn Cycle. March 22ndoffers us a 3-month introduction, before it goes back into Capricorn, before the final ingress into Aquarius in Dec 2020, where it will stay for 3 years.

Historically Saturn in Aquarius seems to bring large technological changes and brings marginalized groups strongly into focus and frame. 22 March – 2nd July 2020 will give an insight into where the challenge is to evolve over the next 3.5 years. Remembering, that Saturn is the traditional ruler of Aquarius. Saturn’s traditional rulership makes it strong in Aquarius, helping it carry through or alter any work established in Capricorn. But extending it via the Aquarius lens. Saturn gives these two signs a commonality, it is how they express it which leads to their difference.

The last time Saturn was in Aquarius, we saw the deconstruction of the USSR (26 December 1991 at 2 degrees of Aquarius)  . Allowing independent states, who were always ethnically and culturally different, gain independence from the Communist banner of the USSR. Also, a thing called “The Worldwide Web”  aka The Internet was for the first time, introduced to the public for mass consumption. Yes, the Internet is having its Saturn return. With so much going on right now in the world, seeing Saturn shift from a heavy and more private / Yin earth sign into a masculine and detached Air sign, may offer some small relief.  Having the elemental shift from a loaded Earth sign to Air, breathes life and ideas into an atmosphere, which has been so heavily dominated by earth for the past 2 years. Positive for our Air folk. (Libra, Aquarius and Gemini). Innovation is also very much an Aquarius theme.  Saturn’s ingress into Air, frees up some of the rigid obstacles and challenged  we currently face.

With regards to the current situation in Australia at least. I wouldn’t be surprised at its ingress, if the Australian Government, closes down the state boarders and air travel to help contain the movement of Covit 19. Governments restricting the movements of its people, to help protect the safety of our broader community. Saturn (restriction and government law) Aquarius (the community and groups.) We have already seen and will most likely see more financial protections for people who are financially marginalized/exposed in the community, by this pandemic. This protection may expand to groups who have been previously exclude, due to the threats being so serious, and unprecedented.

Saturn in Aquarius tomorrow, it may see some revolutionary and new inventive strategies to help stem this building Covit 19 pandemic.  Only time will tell, with regards to what and how Saturn in Aquarius will present, but boy what a time to come to the party.

Full Moon in Virgo & Mercury Direct : Blurred Visions Refocus.

The Full Moon in Virgo occurs on March 9/10, as its Ruler, Mercury stations direct later that day. When the Full Moon in Virgo & Mercury Direct go hand in hand. This helps establish a rational structure, within all the confusion that comes with a Mercury being retrograde in Pisces. The Sun conjoining Neptune at this Full Lunation, combined with Mercury’s retrograde, creates a wonderful space for dreaming, creativity, multidimension thought processes, but for clarity and clear conscious thought, not so much.

The Virgo Full Moon offers an anchor to ground, amongst all the confusion, dis-illusion, fragmented thoughts and blurring of the edges. The Virgo Moon’s analysis looks, for the finer details and discerns with a very sharp eye. Corona Virus seems to be the current focus of the world’s attention, most of this retrograde. This Full Moon offers concise, grounded and clearer analysis of what has been fogging up the newsfeeds. From panic buying, to takes on power and control mechanisms and conspiracy theories. Rather than looking at the facts. This is a new virus, that we don’t understand, and one we seek to understand.

The Virgo Full Moon offers some reasonable and logical space for us to stand amongst all the dividing and delusionary takes currently on offer. With the Moon in Virgo and Mercury turning direct, may this be the pivot point; invoking the power of rational thought and reason calling it back from the deep yonder. Allowing us to find out way out of the fog, for greater clarity and allow for more rational and informed information to come to the forefront. Putting aside all the misinformation, the mis-informed, the slightly informed, and the not informed. Why? so we can work with real information, to help keep our most vulnerable healthy. Remembering amongst all of significations of Mercury, he is also the Scientist and the Doctor & Virgo does have a good pre-occupation with health, thanks to Mercury, its rulers significations.

Venus in Taurus : The Empress Crowned

Today marks Venus moving into Taurus, for a month-long transit in the sign it rules, Taurus. Venus, is in a challenging aspect for a lot of 2020, with March being the best month for Venus type elections and themes. Venus in Taurus has its focus on nourishment via food, bodily nurture, investment or acquisition of Venus type products (Art, Jewellery, Beauty Products, Food appliances etc), as well engaging in activities that bring great joy and connectivity. Where Libra is more social and external in its Venus significations; Taurus is more grounded, homely, private or yin focused. Venus in Taurus is more private, with an internal focus in its manifestation.

During March, Venus while in Taurus, will have helpful aspects to Mars and Jupiter, which allows opportunity and joyous situations, to have that extra synergy, with lots of vigour. March is the month to really push any Venus type goals or engagements. Why? in April, Venus begin it’s 4-month transit in Gemini due to its retrograde, (usually it’s a month-long transit) which will give Venus a more analytical and busy focus, less relaxation, busier and more flustered. There will be frustrations and delays in group activities, engagements, or Venus type aims. Not great for a planet whose focus is to bring things together, and harmonizing. Post the retrograde, Mars & Saturn comes into play to create challenging aspects to her. Short answer, March is the month to really step-back and work the pleasures at play. #thebrujamix# Luminaryastro #luminaryastrology#VenusinTaurus#Venustransits#astrology#aries#taurus#gemini#cancer#leo#virgo#libra#scorpio#sagitarrius#capricorn#aquarius#pisces❤️🌹🧚‍♀️💪👌🙌🏽🐿💫
