August is a busy month with two full moons ( making it a blue moon month ) and a new moon. Venus is retrograde all month making it an aspect which dominates the month. It is also conjunct the new moon in Leo, providing lots of behind the scenes re-evaluations and re-assessments around relationships and personal values.

Mercury stations retrograde on 24 August in Virgo. As mercury rules and is exalted in Virgo, this will be a powerful transit.
