OCTOBER 2021 ASTROLOGY

The main astrological focus of October is Mercury’s retrograde in Libra, which makes aspects to both Pluto and Jupiter. Mercury’s retrograde allows for alternative or unexpected avenues to pop up, deviation from an expected course, along with a time for reflection and reassessments of the area of life, libra rules in chart. Mercury stations retrograde square Pluto in Capricorn which could indicate control or power structure being more active at this time; or perhaps something that has been hidden or suppressed is emerging during the retrograde. Having Jupiter aspected via trine indicates there is a positive lesson or opportunity for strong growth within this retrograde. It becomes apparent as this retrograde unfolds so be ready to meet Jupiter half way.

Mars conjoining the Sun and Mercury on the 10th of October will be a day to watch as Mars agitates behind the scenes adding more confusion and potential anxiousness along with misplaced aggression to October’s astroscapes. Allow a few day either side of this for confusion to sort itself out, but know this is a bit of a triggering day/timeframe.

October 20th is when Mercury goes direct in Libra, however it doesn’t clear its shadow period until early November. SEPTEMBER MONTHLY ASTROLOGY

The first 10 days of September, provides a more supportive and harmonious energy, thanks to Venus transiting Libra, helping us enjoy and observe the majesty of springs arrival to the southern sphere, Venus in her ruling sign creates a more pure Venusian experience, especially where ever Libra is placed in your chart. On September 11th, Venus shifts into Scorpio the sign of her fall which changes up how we experience Venus’ experience. Venus is now in Mars’s territory.

Mercury helps by being co-present with Venus in Libra; however once Venus departs, Mercury itself begins to slowdown and gets ready to begin its retrograde cycle by months end. Mars entering Libra mid month, after Venus’ exit is when the winds begin to get stirred and whipped up. Mars’ agitation in Libra is more frustrating as its a placement Mars generally doesn’t like. This is when things begin to get tense or disruptive. This may present in forms of mental over stimulation or at times anxiety. This phase will pass.

Venus and Mercury do make positive aspects to Jupiter in Aquarius throughout the month. It is helpful, allowing for moments of optimism and glimpse of breakthroughs. FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS @29° 💫
CONJUCT JUPITER 
SUNDAY 22 AUG 2205 AEST 

Today’s full moon is the 2nd Aquarian full moon in a row, making it a blue moon. Our previous full moon was in the early degrees of Aquarius and in aspect to restrictive Saturn, making it a harsher lunation. Today’s lunation is conjunct an optimistic and uplifting Jupiter, creating an all-together different experience. 

A full moon conjunct Jupiter is a thing of beauty and a wonderfully uplifting aspect. It allows us to see/appreciate the things we DO have in these extremely trying times. Along with creating an-air of optimism and opportunity to expand ourselves, to raise our spirits, helping to find moments of joyousness in uncertain times.

2021 is hard, things are changing, and we are adapting, today’s lunation is a lovely moment in time to embrace theses changes and look for the opportunity to grow within these new parameters or limitations imposed by saturnian figures or situations.

We also have today; the Sun is in its last degree of Leo, finishing up its yearly transit in the sign it rules. Venus is now in Libra, another planet back home in its ruling sign; finally, Mercury is also strongly placed in Virgo also its ruling sign. We have some lovely planetary support at this full moon, making a dynamic skyscape. 

Despite all the setbacks, the challenges, the restrictions; today is a wonderful opportunity to settle in and bask in the wonder, the opportunities and the lessons that have gotten us to THIS point in time. AUGUST HOROSCOPES 2021

August 2021 brings friendly skies than we have seen in recent months, Mercury’s retrograde and Eclipse season in May – July was especially difficult. The Sun’s transit of Leo brings strength of illumination and vitality after the moody depths of Cancer season. Paths and directions might be more securely lit and enthusiasm with encouragement abound.

Mercury moving into Virgo the sign of its rulership and exaltation along with Mars helps offer motivation to problem solve some of those niggling problems helping bring solutions. A helpful influence in unpredictable times. The issues to solve will be clearer to see and the answers more accessible.

The new moon in Leo on 8th August, helps with new cycles in the Leo aspects of our chart and lives. The second full moon in Aquarius in a row, on 22 August will be opposite Jupiter the great benefic. This second full moon helps to create opportunity for any problems or restrictions that were presented when the last full moon on 24th July was in aspect to Saturn. JULY ASTROLOGY 2021 


July opens with a tricky Mars Saturn opposition which sets the tone for the month as the two malefic aspect each other, each trying to have their way. Saturn in Aquarius has the upper hand, so the long slow game beats out any rush or major pushes ahead especially if they are coming from a place of passion or ego. A cool and detached head will win the race.


Having Mercury entering Cancer, joining the Sun and the New Moon, brings down some of the tensions mid month, as we get a more intuitive or emotive read on things. Take a cautious approach and minimise any undue risks until this phase has cleared in July. JUPITER’S TRANSIT OF PISCES 

14 MAY – 29 JULY 2021 

Jupiter returned home to its domicile Pisces on Friday 14 May 2021; making it the first transit of Pisces in 12 years. This is a transit that many astrologers have kept an eye on due to its benevolent nature, after such difficult times. Who doesn’t love a benefic planet in its rulering sign? The last time Jupiter worked from such strength was 2019, when it was transiting Sagittarius its other ruling sign. 

Jupiter spends just over 2 months in Pisces before it retrogrades back into Aquarius before its moves back into Pisces in late December 2021. This is a little taster or beginning phase of this powerful transit. Looking to where you have Pisces in your chart allows you to see where this beneficence will manifest. 

Jupiter is a planet of optimism, knowledge, teachers, gurus, learnings, travel, gifts but also dogma and zealots. Pisces is a sign of creativity and encompassing of well, everything; while staying undefinable and elusive.  Notable that the hostilities in the Gaza strip, started 7 days out from the ingress of Jupiter into Pisces.

As exciting at this transit is and as wonderful as it is to have the greater benefic back at full strength. We must also look at the co-presence of Neptune during this transit of Jupiter in Pisces. As highlighted by the wonderful and talented Astrologer, Diana Rose Harper; Neptune’s co-presence in Pisces with Jupiter allows for a real danger of a rise in delusional belief’s, cult shit and a rise in charlatans. The presence of charlatan’s is age old and has been more noticeable as Neptune reached the mid-point of its transit in Pisces. Jupiter now adding to the equation, is prime picking for illusions of grandeur, cult like figure coming out of the woodwork and just plain old bad guru’s and teacher. Be mindful of who presents and don’t be sucked into things that are too good to be true, they probably are. The opportunity of them appearing now is real.

More to come, as these are first thoughts, observations and connections to other people’s observations. But in honour of Jupiter’s ingress we must celebrate that, it is good, it is exciting, but it also does have aspects that are multi-faceted. Pisces energy is easy to get lost in thanks to its encompassing nature. Like all transits, it’s never straight-forwards, but it is something to be excited about along with sticking to your core values so you can contain this massive, inspirational, creative energetic shift as we have now entered its portal. MARS IN GEMINI 2021

4 March – 24 April 2021 AEDT

Today Mars enters Gemini, after an elongated transit of Taurus; the sign of Mars detriment.  Mars entered Taurus, at the moment “That Bull Guy” image; symbolic to the Capital Hill riots was blazoned across the world media. Having this transit line up with such a striking image after such an epic retrograde phase in 2020, was something that only emphasised the potential trickiness of this Mars in Taurus phase, we are now exiting.  Longer than usual, it’s been a tough slog from early January until now. Things have been slower than usual to get up and running along with a resistance to big energetic pushes, or things just required way more motivation than usual. Slow and steady took over from big pushes, which essentially impeded Mars ability to do anything really constructive, as Mars likes fast rigorous action. 

Today with Mars shifting into Gemini, Mars is in a much better space to be able to use his skills and dynamism.  Gemini is a much more dynamic and changeable sign in comparison to the fixed earth of Taurus. Gemini is naturally more aligned to Mars nature and curiosities.  This stimulation of Mars allows for more momentum, traction and progress after a tedious transit of Taurus and retrograde phase in 2020. In short, Mars in Gemini will give strength and vigour to the mind.

Also, at the time of this ingress of Mars into Gemini, Mercury will be conjoining Jupiter for its final conjunction to Mercury in Aquarius. The Ruler of this Mars transit is blessed with the final integration of this three-hit conjunction of Mercury / Jupiter. Having Mercury / Jupiter meet for the third time, allows for information, a way forward, a new plan, new optimism or a new path forwards after a difficult or confusing January / February 2021. 

Having Mercury leave the final stages of its retrograde, along with its connection with Jupiter is extremely helpful and positive for Mars as he enters Gemini. Finally after 12 months we have a Mars making for more positive aspects to Saturn in-particular, allowing for more supportive Mars. Something that has been missing over the last 12 months, as the wrecking ball of Covid 19 began to hit our lives.

Today marks, what potentially we were seeking when we started 2021, by offering us a clearer path forwards, providing the energy and motivation after a difficult and frustrating first two months of the Year. Today we begin to see a more positive Mars influence, which has been missing from our lives over the past 12 months, as Mars begins to set a new pace and a new tone, which is now informed and guided by Jupiter’s influence on Mercury.  Today Mars, gets some of his spunk and swagger back. xx
